Eric attended the Widener University Commonwealth Law School where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2020. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University (Criminal Justice), Eric is admitted to practice in state courts throughout Pennsylvania, The United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and is the President of the Union/Snyder County Bar Association.
Eric puts his experience as a former prosecutor and police officer to good use defending his clients in criminal cases of every kind. Eric has considerable experience in Driving Under the Influence (DUI) cases. That’s because he not only prosecuted them as an Assistant District Attorney but it is also because he made DUI arrests as a former police officer, underwent extensive training in DUI arrests, and became a certified NHTSA Field Sobriety Test instructor of other police officers. Based upon his experience, training, and education in DUI arrests and DUI law, Eric is very well-qualified to handle any DUI case. As a former prosecutor and police officer, Eric knows where to look for weaknesses in the prosecution’s case and knows what issues to pursue in presenting a vigorous defense. Having negotiated many agreements on behalf of the Commonwealth, Eric knows how to arrange for and obtain favorable plea agreements for those of his clients who do not wish to go to trial. Attorney Williams provides vigorous and effective representation to his criminal defense clients.
Eric served as Assistant District Attorney in the Lycoming County District Attorney’s office. There he managed a high-volume caseload of misdemeanor and felony cases from the preliminary hearing through trial, including bench and jury trials, sentencing, and appeals. Obtaining guilty verdicts at trial.
Before becoming a prosecutor, Eric spent ten years as a police officer. In this capacity, he worked as a police officer, as an Instructor, and Accident Investigations Supervisor. Eric also served as a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Field Sobriety Test Instructor with advanced training in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) protocols. He also served as a Certified Traffic Accident Investigator.
Eric proudly served in the United States Army and is a combat veteran.
Eric also puts his courtroom litigation experience to work representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of civil cases litigated in Magisterial District Court cases, County Courts throughout Central Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Eric served in the United States Army and the United States Army Reserve as a Military Policeman. A combat veteran, Eric attained the rank of Sergeant, having served in numerous locations including Kuwait and Iraq.
